Course Details
This hands-on workshop is available to NAOT attendee’s who are interested in learning more about the Exos upper extremity bracing products. Discussion will include common indications, features and benefits, clinical evidence and alternatives for treating upper extremity fractures. Through a combination of lecture from an expert in hand surgery, to hands-on application and group discussion, participants will gain an understanding of how to effectively utilize the Exos upper extremity products to improve patient outcome.
Presenter
Kristopher L. Downing, M.D. received his medical degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania and his hand and upper extremity fellowship at the University of Southern California. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and hand surgeon practicing in San Diego County and is affiliated with seven hospitals in the area. A highly respected surgeon, Dr. Downing has a practice focused on hand and upper extremity surgery and strives for meticulousness and attention to detail in all of the care he provides to his patients. In this workshop, you will learn about his current uses and indications, improved patient outcomes and compliance with the Exos upper extremity bracing products.
