Enovis’ growing animal health business Companion Animal Health recently participated in VMX 2023, the world’s largest veterinary conference. With record-breaking attendance, it was a great opportunity for the Companion team to connect with customers and share their proven portfolio of laser therapies, regenerative medicine, and on-site diagnostics – all designed to improve the lives of pet patients.
The team debuted the new HT Vista, which helps veterinarians identify malignant cancer early and significantly improves the survival rate for many patients, and Cellfie, a revolutionary platform that utilizes remote-enabled technologies to provide real-time clinical pathology services for point-of-care decisions.
“Cancer is the cause of death in 47% of dogs and 32% of cats, over the age of 10 years old. Most of the deaths are due to late detection and misdiagnosis. HT Vista is a safe and cost-effective solution that helps veterinarians identify cancer early,” explains Craig Tockman, DVM, President of Companion Animal Health. “Complementing HT Vista is Cellfie which provides veterinarians with access to gold-standard microscopic evaluations of cytologic samples by board-certified clinical pathologists in the convenience of their own clinic. These two solutions will significantly improve animal health, provide veterinarians with competitive differentiation AND help alleviate pet parent worry.”
The Companion team also sponsored six popular educational seminars to help the vet community stay on top of the latest veterinary medicine and business trends.
