DJO has secured a subcontract with a supplier who is an approved supplier to service Medicare patients.
Please follow the easy steps below to find out information on the Medicare product supplier who is supplying your DJO product.
Effective 1/1/2021, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has implemented the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Competitive Bidding Program for off the shelf knee and off the shelf back braces. The program is directed by specific Competitive Bidding Areas (CBAs) which are made up of a series of local zip codes in combination with specific products. DJO won 94% of the US market, however, there were a few areas where DJO was not selected as a winning contract supplier. In these areas, DJO entered into a subcontract relationship with the winning contract supplier to help provide them with these specific off the shelf products in these specific areas. In these cases, the product is sold by the contract supplier (not DJO). All questions related to the product should be directed to the contract supplier.
