DJO Global Announces Appointment of Sharon Wolfington as New President of Global Recovery Sciences Business Unit

SAN DIEGO, CA, July 10, 2013 – DJO Global, Inc., a global provider of medical device solutions for musculoskeletal health, vascular health and pain management, today announced the appointment of Sharon Wolfington, as its new President of Global Recovery Sciences business unit.

Ms. Wolfington, formerly known as Sharon Brown, has over 20 years of experience in medical device sales, marketing and management.  Ms. Wolfington joins DJO Global from Stryker, most recently as President of Stryker’s Performance Solutions business and was responsible for building and leading a startup business within Stryker to deliver systems and services to assist hospitals, patients, payors and surgeons focused on meeting their clinical, financial and operational performance goals.  Previously Ms. Wolfington held the position of VP and GM, Stryker Global Trauma and Extremities, demonstrating many consecutive years of leading sales growth, moving Stryker Trauma from a distant #3 in market share to a strong #2.  Ms. Wolfington joined Stryker in 2001 as Director of Sales for Stryker Biotech.  Prior to Stryker, Ms. Wolfington held several roles at Biomet/EBI Medical Systems.  Ms. Wolfington has completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nutrition Science from Miami University.
