Oracle Upgrade
- DJO is upgrading its instance of Oracle for superior performance.
- This is a great news for DJO and our customers as this upgrade will generate cost savings, improve system stability, and deliver increased functionality.
- To successfully complete this important upgrade, the DJO IT team will take our instance of Oracle offline for approximately 100 hours. This means customers will NOT be able to order DJO products during this time.
- To minimize customer impact, the upgrade is planned over the weekend from Friday, January 15 at 8:00pm CT through Tuesday, January 19 at 11:59pm CT. In the U.S., Monday, January 18 is the Martin Luther King Day federal holiday.
- We are allocating this amount of time for the upgrade due to the complexity of the required changes and our commitment to customer excellence.
- Non-Oracle sites will not be impacted.
- Certain DJO sites who use Oracle are adjusting their work schedules to manage this change and their customers’ needs.
- Employees: Please check with your manager if you have a question about your shift.
- Customers: Please proactively communicate this upgrade to your customers so they understand what is happening, why and have the opportunity to plan their order for before or after the Oracle downtime. Reach out to the functional areas to discuss how to handle corner cases.
